Confections For Any Occasion is owned and operated by Joel Bernhard, a young man who is blind since the age of five. In 2002, he turned an old general store into an old fashioned candy store in the small town of Theresa, WI. Joel added a sandwich menu and Cedar Crest ice cream, plus many other Wisconsin gourmet foods and wine. Joel uses Wisconsin butter and cream along with Swiss style chocolate to make his decadent chocolates, truffles and his newest creation, Berry Bogs (made with Wisconsin cherries and cranberries).
